Open to all vet students who are interested in a career in equine veterinary medicine
This is a chance for students to get hands on experience and guidance from current equine vets and experts. Students also make excellent connections that can help you navigate your time in vet school.
Hands on opportunities
The Future Equine Practitioners Weekend (FEPW) is filled with hands on labs that give you unique learning experiences guided by current equine vets.
Curated meetings with experts and advisors
Students have the chance to meet one-on-one with a curated collection of equine veterinary practices, cutting edge vendors, and expert advisors. Our limited attendance of just 37 vet students from across the US and Canada lets students spend time asking questions and building deeper relationships with future employers and business partners.
We haven’t forgotten about fun!
The organizers of FEPW understand better than most that vet school is hard. We want to give students a full view of equine practice and part of that is having fun with a close knit group of excellent individuals!
